Louisiana humidity is hard on wood. We build for it: ACQ-treated lumber for posts (the version rated for ground contact), drainage gravel at the base of every post hole, and a slight slope on the top cap to shed water. Done right, a cedar privacy fence here should give you 20+ years before you're talking about replacement.
Most residential jobs (150–300 linear feet) wrap in two to three days. We walk the property line with you before we start, set posts in concrete, and use stainless or hot-dipped galvanized fasteners on every install — the small details that decide whether a fence lasts 5 years or 25.
